Upcoming Appearances

Swindon Festival of Literature
Saturday 12th May, 12 noon
The Greatest Story Never Told with Steve May
Following the stonking success of our performance at #HertsLitFest, Steve and I are off to Swindon. Once again, we’ll be attempting to write The Greatest Story Never Told. We have a ukulele, an accordion, some pencils, and some paper, but ZERO ideas. We need your help! Book tickets now and help us get to the end! Please!

RHS Malvern Festival
Sunday 13 May at 11:45 in the Book Hub
Pet Defenders
Join me for a high energy, laugh-out-loud event introducing the PET DEFENDERS, a secret organisation of pets defending the earth from alien invasion. Featuring raucous songs, frenetic interactive storytelling, dog fights, catty comments and a whole bunch of weird alien stuff.

Wychwood Festival
Saturday 2nd June
The Greatest Story Never Told with Gemma Hastilow
This year’s most anarchic festival show comes to Wychwood. Taking place on Cheltenham Race Course, and with illustrator Gemma Hastilow on drawing duty, this promises to be a totally unique experience.

Blythe Hill Festival
Sunday 1st July, 4.30pm
The Steampunk Pirates
I’m delighted to be headlining at this little gem of a free London festival. I’m on last. That’s headlining, right? Blythe Hill is a stone’s throw from my house and one of South East London best kept secrets. In fact, the less said the better.

Latitude Festival
13th – 15th July
Death or Ice Cream?

My team and I are delighted to be returning for my fourth consecutive year with a TOP SECRET show. I could tell you more but I’d have to kill you.

Camp Bestival
27th-28th July
Ninjas vs Pirates
Details of my fourth Camp Bestival appearance are TBC but I can say that it will be on the Bollywood Stage so obviously I’m looking into the possibility of buying a sitar.

Greenman Festival
18th – 19th August
The Steampunk Pirates Discover Atlantis
The Steampunk Pirates return to our spiritual homeland, Greenman in search of the Lost City of Atlantis. Greenman, if you don’t already know, is one of the best festivals in the UK. The weather is uncertain but a good time is pretty much a sure thing.
